Health Class Learns About Organ Donation
Jamie Adams is a representative of Life Connection of Ohio. She travels around Northwest Ohio to educate people about organ donation. This student is examining a plastic model of a kidney. Tanya Likens is a 2006 MHS graduate and is in need of a kidney. She came to talk to the students about the difficulties associated with needing and finding an organ donor. The students released balloons with tags attached. The tags had "share your pair" written on them to try and encourage whoever finds the balloon to consider becoming an organ donor.
